BRIEFING: This tour is a lifetime opportunity for everyone, not only will you be visiting the sacred places but you will witness the precious teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We cordially invite people from every corner of the world to participate in the journey to awaken the pure soul inherent within each one of us by indulging in the teachings on Tibetan Buddhism by the learned scholar, followed by visiting monasteries to really visualize or to feel the aura of peace within. With the guidance of your teacher you will also participate in Green Tara Puja, which helps one in disturbing mind desiring to stay in peace or solace. Also participate in offering prayer flags, which is considered as a very sacred tradition from centuries in Tibetan tradition. Still in today’s date Tibetan’s are following the same tradition of offering prayer flags on high places so to spread the scripted sacred mantras to the space and to once family, to uplift once luck and others too. We also arranged you a consultation with Amchi, Tibetan doctor. This is a very organic approach towards once health. The medicines are made of herbs collected from mountains, which are very rare and precious with no side effect at all. This tour incorporates a peaceful means yet an effective to once mind and body.

This tour will be extended for those who are willing to do further venture on your way back to home, once reaching Amritsar you can spent one more day doing sightseeing at Amritsar by visiting the famous Sikh temple ‘Golden Temple’.  This is one of the most revered spiritual sites of Sikhism. Entering to this temple will definitely give you a feeling of entering to a whole new culture. People with bare feet, wearing scarf on the head both male and female, queued to seek blessings inside this magnificent temple. 

ACTIVITIES : We will keep our schedule relatively tentative to accommodate your immediate needs. However, we will still follow the program mentioned below.

Dawn

  • Waking up to a brewing cup of Tibetan herbal tea.
  • Meditation to free oneself from disturbing mind.
  • Circumambulation of the Dalai Lama Temple.

Morning

  • Introduction to Tibetan Buddhism By Gesha, a learned Scholar
  • To Attend the Dalai Lama’s teachings on Buddhapalita’s Commentary on the Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way
  • Day time visit to Tsuglagkhang, Norbulingka Institute, Gutoe Monastery, Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, Tibetan Medical and Astro Institute.

Evening

  • Recapitulate the daytime teachings followed by discussion.
  • Participate in Green Tara Puja,
  • Tibetan Massage Therapy
  • Participation in Chod Prayer
  • Private consultation with Tibetan Amchi

DAY-TO-DAY SCHEDULE

 DAY 1:DELHI

•Arrival at Indra Gandi International Airport and check into respective hotel.

 

DAY 2: DELHI – AMRITSAR- DHARAMSALA (B+D)

•Early Breakfast
•Drive to airport to fly to Amritsar Airport and after arrival drive to Dharamsala.About 5 hour drive to Mcleod Ganj and check into hotel
•At evening, there will be a briefing and meeting with fellow participant, coordinator and spiritual masters
•Breakfast provided (B)

 

DAY 3: DHARAMSALA , MCLEOD GANJ (B+D)

•Morning begins at 6:30am with steaming a cup of cleansing Tibetan medicinal herbal tea, followed by guided breathing meditation for 45 min
•Visit to Tsuglag Khang (Dalai Lama temple) after breakfast and registration for teaching
•Walking tour or circumambulation (Kora) of Dalai Lama’s residence at Mcleod Ganj.
•Overnight stay at Hotel in Dharamsala
•Evening Introduction of His Holiness teaching and panel discussion with tour Teacher
• Breakfast and Dinner provided (B+D)

 

DAY 4: DHARAMSALA, MCLEOD GANJ (B+D)

•Morning begins at 6:00am
•Teaching by His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama on Lopon Dawa Dakpa’s Entering the Middle Way (uma jukpa)
•Free for lunch
•After lunch visit to Norbulinka Tibetan Culture Institute and Gyuto monastery afternoon.
•If H.H the 17th Karmapa is available at Gyuto monastery at time of your visit, we will request for special audience
•Evening teaching review and panel discussion with tour Teacher
•Overnight at Hotel in Dharamsala
•Breakfast and Dinner provided (B+D)

 

DAY 5:MCLEOD GANJ, DHARAMSALA (B+D)

•Guided Breathing Meditation 45 min beginning at 6:00am
•Breakfast
•Continues teachings by His Holiness on Lopon Dawa Dakpa’s Entering the Middle Way (uma jukpa)
•Visit to Tibetan Medical & Astrology Museum and Library of Tibetan Works and Archives after lunch. Meeting and private consultation with Tibetan Amchi, Tibetan traditional doctor (on your own accord) with a brief introduction to the Tibetan medical system and its practice. Tibetan medicine is a holistic approach to your health and life which emphasis on the balance of elements within you.
•Recapitulation of daytime teachings and panel discussion with your tour teacher.
•Overnight stay at Hotel in Dharamsala
•Breakfast and Dinner provided (B+D)

 

DAY 6: MCLEOD GANJ, DHARAMSALA (B+D)

• Guided Meditation at 6:00am
•Breakfast
•Continuous teaching by His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama
•Attend private Green Tara puja at noon held especially for the group. This prayer is done to remove any obstacles in your life, be it spiritual or mundane. Participation in these rituals may benefit you from clearing the obstacles that deters you from achieving success

DAY 7: DHARAMSALA, MCLEOD GANJ (B+D)

•Continuous teaching by on Lopon Dawa Dakpa’s Entering the Middle Way (uma jukpa)
•Visit to Tibet Museum for introduction to Tibet and Tibetans
•Recapitulation of daytime teachings and panel discussion
•Chod prayer session with Tibetan Yogi: Chod ritual is an esoteric tantric practice aiming at cutting your ego or attachment to your body by mental visualizing the offering of your body to all sentient being especially to the restless hungry creatures of the spirit world. Highly realized tantric masters perform this ritual.
•Recapitulation of daytime teachings and panel discussion with your tour teacher.
•Overnight stay at Hotel in Dharamsala.

DAY 8: DHARAMSALA, MCLEOD GANJ (B+L)

•Guided meditation at 7:00
•After breakfast, you are free for shopping or your own optional tour of Dharamsala.

Day 9: DHARAMSALA-AMRITSAR-DELHI
